Performances:

The performances of Borenya are breathtaking explosions of high energy and visually spectacular drumming, singing and dancing. Borenya offers both condensed and full-length performances for small and large venues. The company is available for bookings throughout the year. Please contact us about scheduling a performance for your theater, school, community center, festival, or celebration.

Workshops:

We offer Drum and Dance workshops for a wide range of participants including children, adults, aspiring musicians and professional artists. Contact us for more information.

Workshop Intensive:

Borenya offers extended workshops for those wishing to offer their communities immersion into the music and dance of West Africa. We bring artists who come from West Africa to your community for several days of music and dance instruction. Please contact us to arrange a Workshop Intensive in your area.

Residencies:

We offer hands-on drumming and dance experiences for students for an extended period of time. Our residency programs serve students in grades K-12 as well as college level. Contact us about our drum and dance residency programs.

Classes:

We offer ongoing classes in both drumming and dance. Classes include beginning, intermediate and advanced level instruction. Private lessons are also available upon request. Please contact us at 937-287-6044 for class schedule information.

Lectures:

We offer lectures on West African musical traditions. The lectures address the strong connection between the region's music and dance and the culture in which those musical traditions are celebrated. Contact us for more information on our lecture programs.
